Why this exists
Shanghai is not hard because there is nothing to do. It is hard because the first day can ask a lot from your phone: payment, maps, translation, taxi pickup, hotel address, and internet setup all at once.
Shanghai Sorted is a small guide project focused on that practical layer. The tone is traveler-to-traveler, but the claims are checked against official or official-adjacent sources whenever possible.
Each guide keeps a last-verified date and a field-notes section for details that should be checked in the city before we make them stronger claims.
This is an early traffic validation site. If the guides help people, the next step is to expand into deeper route planning and offline arrival tools.
